Marin Wins Florida Weightlifting State Championship

We are delighted to share the remarkable achievement of Sebastian Marin, the founder of our weightlifting club.

The junior Explorer has secured the prestigious title of the Florida Weightlifting Association State Champion in the 96KG category for 16-17 year old boys, showcasing his incredible strength with a snatch of 94KG and a clean and jerk of 125KG!

We not only celebrate Sebastian's personal accomplishments but also commend his exceptional leadership, as he has inspired numerous classmates and fellow students to delve into the world of weightlifting. Many of his peers are now on the verge of competing themselves, and we eagerly anticipate sharing their successes in the near future.

Sebastian will be representing our school at the USA Weightlifting National Championships in Colorado this June, and we kindly ask you to join us in wishing him the best of luck.
