  • STEM & Robotics Teacher / Robotics Coach

    The STEM and Robotics Teacher/Robotics Coach is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) curriculum with a specific focus on robotics. This role involves instructing students in various STEM disciplines, fostering a hands-on learning environment, and coaching robotics teams for competitions. The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in STEM education, robotics, and instructional design, along with excellent communication and leadership skills.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Curriculum Development:
      • Design and develop a dynamic and engaging STEM curriculum with a primary emphasis on robotics.
      • Integrate relevant technologies and hands-on activities to enhance the learning experience.
      • Align curriculum with educational standards and ensure its relevance to real-world applications.
    • Classroom Instruction:
      • Deliver effective and interactive lessons in STEM subjects, emphasizing problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration.
      • Utilize a variety of teaching methods and technologies to cater to diverse learning styles.
      • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages curiosity and exploration.
    • Robotics Coaching:
      • Coach and mentor robotics teams, guiding students through the design, building, and programming of robots.
      • Prepare students for robotics competitions by providing technical expertise, strategic planning, and teamwork skills.
      • Organize and facilitate regular practice sessions to enhance team performance.
    • Student Assessment:
      • Assess student understanding and progress through various formative and summative assessments.
      • Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve and excel in STEM and robotics activities.
    • Professional Development:
      • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in STEM education and robotics technology.
      • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational trends.
    • Collaboration:
      • Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to integrate STEM concepts across the curriculum.
      • Establish partnerships with industry professionals and organizations to enrich students' exposure to real-world applications of STEM.
    • Community Engagement:
      • Engage with parents and the community to showcase students' achievements in STEM and robotics.
      • Organize and participate in STEM-related events, workshops, and outreach programs.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Education, STEM, Robotics, Engineering).
    • Teaching certification preferred.
    • Experience in teaching STEM subjects and coaching robotics teams.
    • Proficient in programming languages commonly used in robotics (e.g., Python, Java).
    • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Systems Engineer

    POSITION OVERVIEW:
    We are searching for a dynamic and dedicated Systems Engineer with the business knowledge and technical expertise to implement strategies, evaluate products, and build upon an infrastructure that supports the changing needs of our institution. In this role, the systems engineer will design, develop, integrate, and manage complex work systems for every lifecycle stage, possess a deep understanding of integration methodologies, have a strategic mindset, and have the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
     
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Direct, implement, and manage IT Operations: ERP, SIS, Infrastructure, Cloud Solutions, Cybersecurity, Identity and Access Management, User Management, Asset and Resource Management, Application Management and Delivery, Business Collaboration Solutions Systems, Business Continuity, Vendor Management, Risk Management, Incident Response Management, Problem Management, and Disaster Recovery.
    • Evaluate existing systems and processes to identify integration opportunities, process enhancements, and efficiency improvements.
    • Manage the integration and implementation project lifecycle, including planning, resource allocation, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
    • Provide technical leadership and implementation of cybersecurity posture improvements in conjunction with cybersecurity partners.
    • Oversee and enhance network infrastructure and work alongside our managed network service partner to conduct regular configuration and updates to prevent downtimes and system failures.
    • Responsible for planning, executing, and completing major IT projects on time.
    • Communicate project status, challenges, and successes to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
    • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and integration strategies and tools trends.
    • Provide mentorship, guidance, and foster professional growth among team members
     
     
     
     
     
    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is not required, but preferred.
    • 5+ years experience in programming languages such as PowerShell.
    • 5+ years experience in managing systems such as Google Workspace, ActiveDirectory, Azure, SQL, and Microsoft 365.
    • Experience with enterprise software systems such as ERP, CRM, and cloud-based applications.
    • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain Windows server issues and administer Microsoft Products, including Windows Servers, Azure Cloud Environments, and Power BI reporting services.
    • Advanced proficiency in dealing with operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, and HTTP traffic.
    • Proven experience in IT business integration, system architecture, and project management.
    • Strong understanding of integration methodologies, APIs, data mapping, and middleware technologies.
    • Proficiency in evaluating, selecting, and implementing tools and platforms.
    • Exceptional problem-solving skills, strategic mindset, and an eye for process improvement.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Collaborative leader who works extensively with internal team and external vendors for design, creation, and implementation of workflows and repeatable frameworks of automations, integrations, and configurations, ensuring delivery of efficient solutions and operations that meet business needs of all stakeholders.
    • Experience in the Education industry or relevant domain knowledge is a strong plus.
    • Capable of being on-call as necessary to support the environment.
