60 Years of Educational Excellence

Christopher Columbus High School has long upheld three core traditions: the pursuit of academic excellence, the rich heritage of Catholic education, and the distinctive spirit and mission of the Marist Brothers.

Founded in 1958 with just two and a half buildings and an initial enrollment of approximately 150 students, the school’s legacy began to flourish when the Marist Brothers assumed leadership in 1959 under the guidance of Principal Brother Benedict.

Over the years, the campus grew with the addition of new buildings, facilities, and innovative programs. Renowned for its excellence across academics, athletics, and extracurriculars, Christopher Columbus High School now serves 1,700 students and boasts a proud network of over 16,000 alumni. Today, it stands as a model of Catholic education, inspiring schools nationwide.
