  • Debate Society Finds Success in Mississippi

    The Columbus Debate Society returned Sunday from Oxford, Mississippi. It was the team's first trip since the Presidents Day weekend of 2020 - 20 months!

  • Explorers Win Las Vegas Tournament

    The varsity basketball team traveled to Las Vegas, NV this past weekend to challenge some of the nation's top teams.

  • Golf Team Wins GMAC Championship

    The Columbus golf team dominated the GMAC golf tournament, firing a 282, (-6) as a team!

  • Explorers Help With Special Olympics Event

    Mr. Gulesian and a group of Explorers participated in a Special Olympics community service event at the New York Mets facility in Port St. Lucie last weekend.

  • XC Sweeps GMAC Meet

    The Hellions had a good showing at the GMAC Championship. The Junior Varsity perfect scored (when 5 runners finish before any other individual from another team) meet being led by Junior Kevin Alonso. The boys took the up the the first 10 positions.

  • Golf Team Finishes 2nd at Honda Classic

    The Explorers went into championship Saturday at the High School Honda Classic National Invitational down just 5 strokes and sitting in 5th place overall out of 18 teams. 
     
  • Explorers Visit Tallahassee for Couriel's Investiture Ceremony

    President Thomas Kruczek and a number of other proud Explorers attended the Investiture Ceremony in the courtroom at the Florida Supreme Court in Tallahassee for one of Florida's two newest justices - Justice John Couriel '96.

  • Junior Class Rings: Class of 2023

    Class of 2023 Explorers can celebrate their achievements and capture the memories with a personalized class ring from Herff Jones.

  • Columbus Golf Team Wins Again

    On an absolutely beautiful weekend in Ft. Myers, the Columbus golf team took first place in the annual 36 hole South Florida PGA West tournament at Crown Colony Golf and Country Club.
  • Golf Wins Dade County Youth Fair

    The varsity golf team won the Dade County Youth Fair Tournament by a landslide at Country Club of Miami yesterday.

  • Golf Team finishes at 2nd at LRHS Invitational

    The Columbus varsity golf team played in the Lakewood Ranch Invitational this past Saturday up in Bradenton against some of the top ranked teams from the west side of the state.

    The Columbus boys' golf team placed third out of 20 teams from nine states at the recent Brophy Rodeo, presented by Ping (National High School Golf Tournament) held at the Wigwam Country Club in Litchfield Park, Arizona.

    The Varsity and Junior Varsity Cross Country team competed this past Saturday in Fort Myers racing at the DDD Sommer Invitational.

    For the first time in 21 years, a school not named American Heritage or Benjamin School won the annual American Heritage School Invitational.

    The varsity Columbus golf team started off the 2021-22 season last Monday at Mel Reese International Links on a windy day from the back tees, which runs about 7,200 yards (most PGA tour events are played at this distance).

  • NHS Members Serve at San Juan Bosco

    Before the Christmas break, members of the National Honor Society served the San Juan Bosco Children’s Leadership Learning Center by preparing and distributing food and gift bags, as well as decorating and cleaning up the parish hall where the distribution took place.
