Columbus Connects Leadership Lecture Series

The 2022-23 Columbus Connects Leadership Lecture Series kicks off a new year on October 13 at 6:00 pm at the Columbus Café!

The season premier will be a legal extravaganza.  We will have not one but two Florida Supreme Court justices.  Florida Supreme Court Justice John Couriel (’96) will be joined on the panel by former Florida Supreme Court Justice, and first Cuban-American, Raoul Cantero (’78).  Moderated by long-time CCHS history teacher John Lynskey (’78), the justices will share current topics impacting the US and Florida Supreme courts, as well as discuss their trajectories to success.

Columbus is one of the only high schools in the state to have multiple alumni serve as justices on the Florida Supreme Court, an institution that dates back to 1845.  Join us on October 13th, and you will have the opportunity to see, learn from, and speak to both on the same stage!
