Golf in 4th After Day 1 at Ping Invite in Scottsdale
The boys of Columbus came out with a very solid first round today at the Brophy Rodeo National Invite sponsored by Ping!
They were led by senior Mas Scholar Max Fonseca who finished (-1) 71 today, good for 6th place at the moment. The team is playing at Grayhawk Golf Course, home of the NCAA National Championships, so it is a very challenging course and a great field of teams. There are teams from Utah, Arizona, Texas, California, Nevada, Florida, and more.
Senior Hans Risvaer did not travel with the team this week and is playing in a very important AJGA at TPC Sawgrass for several college coaches from around the country who requested to watch him.
