Track Wins Sam Burley Invitational
Our Track & Field team competed last weekend at the Sam Burley Invitational at Tropical Park. The Explorers finished in 1st out of 30+ teams. The results below are the individuals who finished top 8 in their event:
High Jump- Fadrelle Andros (4th Place, 5ft 8').
Long Jump- Shaddai Carter (2nd Place, 22ft 10')/ Darriel Harper (6th Place, 20ft 10')/ Tremonte Underwood (8th Place, 20ft/8').
Triple Jump- Shaddai Carter (2nd Place, 44ft 06')/ Shiloh Conway (5th Place, 41ft 02')/ Michael Duran (6th Place, 41ft 02').
Discus- Brysson Stouffer (1st Place, 148ft)/ Gustavo Alfonso, (2nd Place, 141 ft)
Shot Put- Daylen Russell (6th Place, 45-09)
100m- Denim Desrosiers (5th Place, 11.04)
200m- Ahmere Foster (5th Place 22.17)/ Darren Mcqueen (7th Place, 22. 39)
400m- Adrian Cardero (2nd Place, 48.99) / Darren McQueen (4th Place, 49.77)
800m- James Orange (5th Place, 2:03)/ Marcus Mata (7th Place (2:04).
1600m- Nick Ivonnet (4th Place, 4:35)
3200m- Alejandro Romagosa (5th Place, 10:07)/ Giovanni Armas (6th Place, 10:14)/ Daniel M. Garcia (8th Place, 10:43).

The boys will be competing this Tuesday at Homestead HS and Friday at Traz Powell.
