Robotics Team Advances to State Championship

Columbus' rookie Robotics Team (11342C) led by junior Alessandro Fernandez with Lucas Acosta and Eduardo Del Toro, advanced to the State Championship this past weekend at the VEX Robotics Competition at iTech Titan High School in Miami.

The second  Robotics Team (11342B) led Anthony Perez with Mario Villaverde and Kristopher Nodarse made it to the semifinals, but fell short by a few points at the last minute.

Next Saturday (2/19), our three Robotics Teams will travel to Immokalee, FL for their last competition of the season. This will be the last opportunity for the other two teams to qualify for the State Championship.
