Block C Awards Announced

Christopher Columbus High School continued its annual tradition of honoring its athletes, but changed the format due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

“We were able to have our Block C Awards Ceremony,” Columbus Athletic Director Chris McKeon said. “We’re in unpredictable times. It’s been a challenge for everyone but we want to honor our seniors and celebrate all the successes this school year brought.”

Participation certificates, varsity letters, letterman jackets, and team awards will be delivered by coaches to athletes in the coming week.

“We wanted to let the kids know we appreciate them and all the work they put in,” McKeon added. “They will get everything we would have normally given them in-person.”

McKeon and the school administration would like to specifically congratulate and unveil the [Virtual] Block C Major Awards, honoring our standout senior student-athletes:
