Student Awareness Day

Yesterday, five of our Explorers went up to FIU Biscayne Campus to participate in Student Awareness Day with Theology Department Chair, Mr. Pedro Marti.

The event is put on by the Holocaust Documentation Center and in years past, was hosted on campus.

The Explorers had a great time and were extremely grateful to listen to the testimony of a Holocaust survivor in a small group setting. The survivors are all in their 90's at this point, so the window of opportunity to listen to their first hand testimony is quickly shrinking.

The lesson to stand up and confront injustice is important as we strive to build young men of fortitude.
