The Hellions had a record setting day at the GMAC Championship.

The Varsity were crowned team champions for the 15th time, scoring an amazing 25 points – the best score for a GMAC team ever! The next best team scored nearly 100 points. Individually, Chris Ivonette was the race’s champion. Adrian Bichara finished 3rd, Alvaro Canarte 5th, Malcolm Brown 6th, and Freshman Marc Dabby 7th.

The JV team nearly topped varsity, taking the top 5 spots and scoring the lowest possible score of 15 points. The Hellions placed 13 runners in the top 15. Branden “Turbo” Ruiz was crowned the individual JV champion. Mike Alvarez and Gus Alfonso also had strong performances for Columbus.
