Hellions Finish 8th at State Meet

The Cross Country team finished the year off with an 8th place finish at the FHSAA State Meet.

The team was led up front by Malcolm Brown and Kevin Kerjean, but also had a stellar performance from freshman Anthony Bergnes, who was the team's 5th man.

The Explorers were the highest placed team out of Miami-Dade County in the Class 4A race.

Overall, the Hellions season was filled with great success! They placed 1st or 2nd in 8 of their 11 races this year and graduate none of their ‘starters’ for next season, so the future remains bright.

Now the distance team sets their sights on helping the Track & Field team defend last year’s state championship title.
