Ways to Give

Transform Lives

Your gift, whatever its size or purpose, makes an enormous difference to Christopher Columbus High School and to the young men whose lives it will influence. You may elect to make your gift without any restrictions, enabling the school to use it where it can achieve the greatest impact, or you may direct your gift to a program of your particular interest. Below are brief descriptions on each of the campaigns/funds available at Columbus and how these funds are allocated.

CCHS is a 501(c)(3), tax-exempt organization. Take full advantage of your donation - which may be tax deductible - by consulting your tax advisor directly.

Giving to Columbus

ANNUAL FUND: The Annual Fund is a general development fund used for campus improvements. With these funds, we can expand and improve our facilities thus enabling Columbus to provide our students with an education that supports the Marist Mission. This Fund helps us with improvements that are needed on campus.

BR. KEVIN ADELANTE FUND: Named after former President, Br. Kevin Handibode, FMS, the Br. Kevin Adelante Fund was established for qualified families who need help with tuition assistance. Your donation to this fund will be helping families who value a Marist Catholic Education but without assistance would not be able to send their sons to Columbus. The fund helps make a Columbus education more accessible to a diverse and talented student body. There are strict guidelines in place to evaluate and approve families for financial aid. Please note that this fund has replaced the 100 @1000 and 1000 @ 100.

CAPITAL CAMPAIGN:
This is our future. The Capital Campaign funds are used for the construction of new buildings at Columbus. Currently, we are raising funds for the Marcus Lemonis & Mario Sueiras Center for Science & the Arts. The project is estimated to cost $25 million and has an anticipated completion date in early 2022.
CARING HEARTS FUND: This newly created fund will help Explorers with unforeseen circumstances. Many of our current students are struggling against difficult odds as they try to complete their education. Although traditional financial aid helps with their tuition, some students lack adequate family support or resources to cover unexpected financial hardships. Your contribution, no matter how big or small will make a difference. For example, a $3.00 donation will buy a school lunch for a young man who may otherwise go hungry.

IN MEMORY OF: Let your donation honor an Explorer. Any of the campaigns or funds listed above can be in memory of a deceased classmate or a Marist Brother who made a big impact during your years at Columbus. When making the donation, please include the name of your classmate or Marist Brother in the “In Memory of” section of the online payment form. This is a great way to demonstrate the Columbus Brotherhood.
