CCNN Live’s National Recognition in Student Production Awards

CCNN Live has recently been recognized by the National Academy of Television, Arts & Sciences for our student productions, garnering significant national accolades. 

Our student journalists, under the guidance of Christina Insua, Daniella Rodriguez, and Omar Delgado, have achieved an outstanding level of success in various categories. These include Newscasts, News Reports in Serious and Light News categories, Multimedia Journalism, Video Essays, Public Affairs/Community Service, Arts/Entertainment/Cultural Affairs, Magazine Programs, Sports Stories/Segments, Commercials, Animation/Graphics/Special Effects, Directorship, and Talent for News or Sports.

Our students’ dedication to excellence in journalism and media production has resulted in a diverse array of nominations. From covering impactful news like ‘HB-49 Affecting Teenagers’ Academics’ to creative endeavors such as ‘From Maintenance Man to Musician,’ their work spans a broad spectrum of topics and showcases their versatility and talent.
 
The nominations include:
• Newscasts on various dates with contributions from Carlos Soto-Angulo, Adrian Perez, and many more talented students.
• News Reports highlighting critical topics and celebrating diversity within our community.
• Multimedia Journalism that pushes the boundaries of storytelling in the digital age.
• Video Essays that offer introspective views on contemporary issues.
• Public Affairs/Community Service segments, which display our commitment to societal impact.
