Athletic Training Room

The Upgraded Athletic Training Center Opens in October '21

The success of Christopher Columbus High School athletics is due in large part to the support of our families, loyal fans and donors. That is why we are asking for your support on a project that will impact every one of our student-athletes – the renovation of Br. Herb’s Training Room into the Henderson Family Athletic Training Center.

Construction of this upgraded training facility will start at the tail end of the 2020-21 school year and run through the summer and early fall, completely renovating the space with all new equipment, including:
  • Treatment & Rehabilitation Areas
  • Taping Space
  • Hydrotherapy Area
  • Br. Herb’s Office
  • Upgraded Training Room
  • New Storage Space
  • Food/Nutrition Space
  • Enhanced graphics and audio visual equipment, including televisions with an improved sound system
Centrally located with convenient access for all student-athletes, the Henderson Family Athletic Training Center will only enhance the level of care and support afforded to our Explorers.

Every Explorer on Every Team

The goal is to raise $500,000 for this project. All gifts directly impact the lives of current Explorers and enhance that of student-athletes to come. Br. Herb has a wish list of equipment for the training room and it includes items he feels will benefit Columbus athletes the most.
A Donation with Name Recognition
You can leave a lasting legacy and help mold champions by pledging your support. All donors will receive recognition in printed materials (i.e. ribbon cutting program, etc.). Donors who give $1000 or more will be listed on a permanent donor wall in the facility. There will be different levels of giving recognized.
