Doskow '18 Named GSC Co-Player of the Year
Valdosta State baseball first baseman EJ Dowkow '18 has the honor of being named the 2022 Gulf South Conference Co-Player of the Year, announced by the league office Thursday.
In addition to being GSC Co-Player of the Year, Doskow was also named to the All-GSC first team along with senior left-handed pitcher Elijah Gill.
Doskow, a native of Miami, Fla., has played and started 40 games for the Blazers. In 138 at bats, he has tallied 55 hits, 12 doubles, nine homeruns, 37 runs scored, 52 RBI, 94 total bases, and four stolen bases. Doskow is batting a .399 for third in the league, slugging a .681 for fourth in the league, and is reaching on base at .497 for first in the league. Doskow is also fourth in the league in RBI.
