Track & Field Wins GMACs

The Columbus Track and Field team competed at the GMAC Championships at Traz Powell Stadium and took home 1st place over 35+ teams, scoring 191 points.

Northwestern finished 2nd with 144 points.

The following boys finished 1st in their respective events: Daniel M. Garcia (9:49/2 mile), Darren McQueen (300H/38.82), Shaddai Carter (LJ/22.02, TJ/45.05), Gus Alfonso (Discus/ 147.09), and Amani Marti (1st/ 10ft).

Below are the top 8 finishers:
100m- Darren McQueen (2nd place/10.44), Durian Moss (5th place/10.76), and Denim Desrosiers (8th place/ 10.97).
200m- Durian Moss (4th place/ 21.87), Ahmere Foster (5th place/ 21.91)
400m- Adrian Cardero (2nd place/ 48.91)
800m- Marc Dabby (2nd place/ 1:55.87), Marcus Mata (6th place/ 2:00)
