Nat'l School Counselor's Week: Profile on Br. Eladio

Br. Eladio Gonzalez is Columbus’ longest running counselor, serving in our guidance department for close to 32 years. 

He has been a Marist Brother for 67 years and ministered at educational institutions in Cuba, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and Texas. 

Today, Br. Eladio not only serves Columbus as a Learning Specialist Counselor but also as the longtime moderator of the Squires Club known for outstanding community service and as our school photographer.  Br. Eladio is a recipient of the Cervantes Outstanding Educator Award and is a Member of the Knights of Columbus and the Cuban Marist Alumni Association. 

Br. Eladio has done so much for the young men of Columbus for so many years and always quietly and in a very caring way.  We are so blessed to have Br. Eladio at Columbus.
