2021-22 Conrad Innovators Announced

The CCHS STEM Club's Conrad Challenge Team has been awarded the distinction of Conrad Innovators in the Energy and Environment category with their Atmospheric Water Condenser (AWO) project.

The distinction of Conrad Innovator denotes students who have excelled in the competition by submitting a noteworthy Business Plan. This badge of excellence is granted to students by the Conrad Foundation as an honor that can be carried along in their educational careers as a source of pride and ownership in achieving a new standard of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Please congratulate Jason Aguiar, Gustavo Alfonso, Nicolas Campos and Nicholas Lamadriz when you see them.

Finalists for The Conrad Challenge will be announced February 25, 2022 for the top five teams in each category. Finalist teams will attend the Conrad Challenge Innovation Summit, April 26-29, 2022 at NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX.

The Conrad Challenge honors the legacy of Apollo 12 astronaut, Charles “Pete” Conrad, and his four-decade passion for innovation and entrepreneurship. Nancy Conrad, Pete’s wife and former high school teacher shared his passion for inspiring future explorers. She launched the Conrad Challenge to keep Pete’s spirit for innovation and entrepreneurship alive, and encourage students to Get Your Genius On®.
