Freshmen Field Day & Retreat

We are so excited to have so many of our freshmen joining us for FIELD DAY & RETREAT on Tuesday!

Below are a few things to keep in mind as you get ready to head to campus for field day.
  1. Students are expected to arrive on campus by 7:45am. They will need to check in when they arrive for attendance purposes. After they have checked in, each student will report to their small group on the football field. We will send an email with Group numbers for the retreat and the schedule for field day. Please make sure to check the student’s Columbus email on Monday so they know where to go after check in.
  2. Students are to be dropped off in front of the cafeteria. Please do not drop off students at the main entrance of the school. Both freshmen and juniors will be on campus Tuesday, so please be sure to allow time for traffic when dropping off.
  3. Students are expected to be dressed appropriately in a Columbus t-shirt, school appropriate shorts/jeans/joggers, and sneakers. If the student does not have a Columbus t-shirt, a solid white or navy blue t-shirt is also allowed. It’s likely that it will be warm on Tuesday, so please dress accordingly. Again, make sure all attire is school appropriate.
  4. Students will need to bring their own water bottle. We will have water filling stations available for refills, but they must have their own water bottle.
  5. The Castaways Against Cancer will have pizza and drinks available for purchase. The student should have cash if he would like to purchase pizza and/or drinks. ($2 for 2 slices of pizza and $1 for drinks)
  6. Students are to be picked up in front of the cafeteria. They will be dismissed at approximately 11:30am.
  7. All students MUST wear a mask unless they are actively engaged in an event that requires them to run. Hand sanitizing stations will be available in various spots. Students should make sure they take advantage and clean their hands regularly.
This is their day and we hope that our young men will enjoy what we have planned!
