Anglers Club Places 3rd in the State

This year, the Anglers Club participated in the FWC High School Fishing Program Conservation Project.

The goal of the conservation project is to teach students about ethical angling, conservation, Florida fisheries habitats, basic fishing gear and general fishing concepts to help create confident and responsible anglers. Some of the projects that the club did this year were waterway/beach cleanups, kids fishing clinics, classroom recycling, and promote our many bass fishing tournaments through social media.

The club competed against an estimated 30 other high schools across the state of Florida and, we are very happy to say that the Anglers Club placed 3rd. This was the first time that the club competed in this competition within the 6 years of its existence.
