CCNN Live, Reyes Receive Honors

Senior, Kevin Reyes, has been named a finalist in the Education Awareness category for the 25th Annual Palm Beaches Student Showcase of Films (SSOF) – the largest student film competition and award show in Florida— for his public service announcement entitled, Disconnect to Reconnect.

Reyes and film club moderator, Mr. Rafael Diaz, will attend the SSOF Red Carpet Award Show on April 3rd, where the winner will be announced.

We are also proud to announce that all three of CCNN Live’s publications, CCNN Live Daily Show, The Voyage and The Ship have been honored as All-Florida publications by the Florida Scholastic Press Association (FSPA). Only 5 shows in the state of Florida were awarded this distinction in the state, and Columbus has three of them.
