Angler’s Report: SeaHunter Boat Factory

The Angler’s Club and Spearfishing Club both recently took personal tours of the SeaHunter Boat Factory.

This is the fourth time that the Angler’s Club visited the facility and the first for the Spearfishing Club.

The boys got the opportunity to view the building process such as wiring installation, fiberglass, fittings, and painting. They also received information on the reverse building process of paint, mold, fiber, etc.

More importantly, the boys got the opportunity to ask questions about the company, marine industry, and what’s to come in the future for the company and industry.

Following the tour the clubs got the opportunity to take a boat ride to Boca Chica for lunch aboard a SeaHunter 45’ and 39’ vessel. The boys also saw the new SeaHunter CTS 41 catamaran in action as it made a special viewing at Boca Chica Key.

Special thank you to the SeaHunter family: Eddie Leon, Paul Myrtetus, Bernard Perez, and Ralph Montalvo for providing this great experience for the boys.
