A Columbus First at Drama States

Last weekend, 14 Columbus drama boys competed with thousands of students at the Florida State Thespian Festival in Tampa, and all 14 of them placed!
 
Not only did they all place, but Daniel Sanchez broke a school record by receiving a perfect score on his solo musical piece, earning him the coveted States Critic’s Choice Award in his category! This is a first for Columbus at the State level!
 
Excellent in Ensemble A: Andrew Alonso, Gabriel Perez, Tomas Pereyra, Rafael Vergara, and Luis Vergara
 
Excellent in Ensemble B: Giovanni Aprigliano, William Lamey, Andrew Llovet, Spencer Wood, and Raul Mederos
 
Excellent in Group Pantomime: Steven Hernandez, William Lamey, Giovanni Aprigliano, Daniel Sanchez, Daniel Travieso, and Gabriel Perez
 
Superior in Solo Pantomime: Luis Vergara
 
Superior in Dialogue: Andrew Llovet and Rafael Vergara
