Stop the Bleeding Course Held at Columbus

A person who is bleeding can die from blood loss within five minutes.

Thus, it is critically important to stop blood loss quickly.

Those nearest to someone with a bleeding injury can make a life-saving difference, if they are adequately trained to provide first care.

This course, provided free of charge by Columbus and taught by class of 1991 alums Erik Alexander and Marco Torres, is being offered to encourage bystanders to become trained, equipped and empowered to help in a bleeding emergency before professional help arrives.

WHERE: On campus, All Sports Fitness Center (Weight Training Side)
WHEN: February 26th from 6-9 PM
