Halloween Party for Underprivileged Kids

This Friday, October 27th, from 4-6 pm we will be hosting our 3rd Annual Halloween Party for underprivileged children in our community!

The Mas Program has partnered with the CCHS National Honor Society & Our Lady of Lourdes Academy for a 3rd year in a row to make this amazing event possible. The only change from previous years is that we will be hosting it for the needy children from the San Juan Bosco Learning Center in Little Havana. We are expecting over 200 children on our campus, and want to make sure that we provide them with a Halloween experience they will never forget!

In the past, few years it has been very inspiring to see our student body and faculty come together volunteering their time, donating candy, costumes and decorations for children less fortunate in our community, and we hope this year is no different.

How Can You Help?

1. Bags of candy - Any bags of candy donated by you or your students would be very much appreciated! These are being collected in Mrs. Cofresi's Room (D15)
2. Student volunteers - We need students to set up and clean up.  Also, will be pairing each child from the Learning Center with a CCHS/OLLA student as their host. Sign-up sheets will be in the Mas Program Office & Mrs. Cofresi's Room
3. New/Used Halloween Decor - Anything and everything is welcome, but please nothing too SCARY or gory! (Lights, spider webs, Halloween table clothes/napkins, etc.)

We are truly looking forward to bringing joy in a fun filled holiday experience to many children that normally would not have the opportunity!
