2017 College Application Boot Camp
No other high school in Miami-Dade County brings the expertise of College Application Boot Camp directly to you!
Dates: Monday, July 31st - Friday, August 4th
Time: 9 am - 12 pm
All CCHS students are welcome to attend! Please feel free to spread the word to any interested Columbus students.
On the agenda...
- A speaker from UF, specializing on the Coalition Application
- A speaker from UM, discussing private school admissions (and scholarship information)
- Maite Halley, a private college counselor, will be walking the students through the Common Application (showing them some ins and outs of the process)
- A few more potential more speakers are lined up
- There will also be round-robin with English teachers (discussing colleges essays) and the college counselors discussing the scholarship search, financial aid, interviews, etc.
