Columbus Cangrejos Donate to La Liga Contra El Cancer

The Columbus Cangrejos donated $3,971 to La Liga Contra el Cancer / The League Against Cancer this past week at its 2017 telethon.
 
The annual event, held at the Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition in partnership with Telemundo 51, raised $5,027,240. Members of the club made the in person check presentation and were on Telemundo 51 during the live telethon.
 
The League Against Cancer is a non-profit organization providing free medical care to cancer patients who do not have financial resources or health insurance. Since its inception in 1975, The League Against Cancer has provided more than 50,000 low-income, uninsured men, women and children with world-class medical treatment, screenings and support, representing a significant economic savings to the State of Florida.
