History Teacher Named ‘Explorers Compass Award’ Winner

Alex Trujillo was recently named the ‘Explorers Compass Award’ winner for the 2016-17 school year at the Marist Achievement Dinner.

The award recognizes the creative ability, ingenuity, resourcefulness and dedication Trujillo – a Columbus class of 1996 graduate – displays in leading students to excellence. Out of the classroom, Trujillo has been an integral part of the football program, coordinating the varsity defense for the past 15 years.
 
Past recipients of this award include Butch Staiano, Carlos Moro, Mary McCullagh, Omar Delgado, Christina Hidalgo, Keith Crossman and Anneris Cedeno.
