Freshman Joey Rodriguez Mentioned in Rolling Stone Magazine

Joey Rodriguez (class of 2020) plays guitar for the What You Know band and was mentioned in the latest issue of Rolling Stone magazine.

Rodriguez, along with his other band mates, including Phil Collins’ son Nicholas, Nick Aquilino and Yannick Waingarten, will be playing at Wynwood Life on Saturday, April 22nd.

On What You Know’s website, Rodriguez credits his love for the guitar to trying his hand at various sports, which never really sparked an interest. He fondly remembers car rides with his father where they listened and sang to the Police, Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, The Beatles and other legends. It was during these car rides as a young boy that his passion for music was born. Shortly after, at age 10, he received his first guitar as gift from his parents.
