Greece Trip 2018

Columbus is organizing a student trip to Greece in 2018 during the Easter Break (March 29th - April 6th, 2018) and family members are welcome to join. 
 
The trip is organized through the American Counsel of International Studies.  For information on the tour "Heroes of Greece" click here
 
Students will:
  • Learn why Ancient Greece is considered the birthplace of Western civilization, and of its many contributions to government, science, philosophy, and the arts.
  • Gain a sense for the Golden Age of Ancient Greece and the role of mythology in Greek life.
  • Gain a sense of the crucial importance of the Peloponnese in the ancient Greek world through visits to Epiduarus, Mycenae and Olympia.
Preliminary Daily Schedule:
Day 1: Overnight Flight
Day 2: Athens
Day 3: Athens
Day 4: Olympia
Day 5: Delphi
Day 6: Kalambaka
Day 7: Athens
Day 8: Athens
Day 9: Departure
