About CCHS

Why Columbus?

At Christopher Columbus High School, providing an excellent education is more than imparting knowledge; it's helping young men become the very best they can be in all the facets of their lives. Established in the spirit of St. Marcellin Champagnat, founder of the Marist Brothers, Columbus is the beginning of a great adventure and a lifetime of learning and friendships. The adventure begins from the moment students enter our courtyards, where they join generations of young men who have been raised in the finest of Catholic educational traditions.

We know that you will want to be part of the Columbus family. We invite you to join us.

Adelante! Forward!

Since 1958 Columbus has established itself as a college preparatory high school that is second to none. Here we challenge, inspire, and prepare young men to embrace a life of personal excellence, devoted to service and the love of Jesus Christ, the unseen, but ever present teacher in our classes.
Christopher Columbus High School is a private, Roman Catholic, college-preparatory high school, conducted by the Marist Brothers of the Schools. We aim to make Jesus Christ known and loved, as we prepare young men for higher education and for their continuous challenge of harmonizing faith, culture and life. We foster a family spirit among all who are committed to the success of the school and promote opportunities to work together as a community of learners.
