Campus Health & Wellness Update

As we complete our 5th week of school, we wanted to give you an update regarding the health and wellness of our school community on campus.

We are certainly proud of our accomplishments thus far and wish to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our faculty and staff. It has truly been a team effort!  Our commitment to the COVID-19 protocols has allowed us to offer many school activities and events that are important to our students and parents.  These include Encounters, Masses, retreats, field days, field trips, athletics, parent meetings and Back to School Night.
We are confident in our ability to move forward and we are thankful to our entire school community for their diligence in adhering to all policies and procedures. Fortunately, the number of students, faculty and staff in quarantine due to exposure and positive tests has been minimal. We will be sure to keep you up to date as we continue to manage our contact tracing internally with the assistance of Scrivas and our COVID-19 Task Force. We will also continue to monitor our South Florida community and make adjustments to our COVID-19 protocol as needed.

Thank you for your continued support and trust in our ability to maintain a safe environment for our students.

Christopher Columbus High School is a private, Roman Catholic, college-preparatory high school, conducted by the Marist Brothers of the Schools. We aim to make Jesus Christ known and loved, as we prepare young men for higher education and for their continuous challenge of harmonizing faith, culture and life. We foster a family spirit among all who are committed to the success of the school and promote opportunities to work together as a community of learners.

Columbus is fully accredited by Cognia and is a member of the Marist Association of Secondary schools, the National Catholic Education Association and the Independent Schools of South Florida.
