Golf Places 3rd at Arizona Ping Invitational

The Columbus boys' golf team placed third out of 20 teams from nine states at the recent Brophy Rodeo, presented by Ping (National High School Golf Tournament) held at the Wigwam Country Club in Litchfield Park, Arizona.
 
The Explorers had a great day one, leading the pack, and finished 3rd overall behind Dallas Trinity Christian and host Brophy Prep. The team was led by Hans Risvaer who shot -4 (68) and Sebastian Kawas -2 (70). The team total for two days was -6 for the tournament. 

The team put together an impressive showing for the Skills Challenge and won it prior to round one of play.
