Ortega Named FBLA State Champion

Congratulations to all the Explorers that represented Christopher Columbus High School in the highly competitive Future Business Leaders of America state conference. 

Leading the way was Fernando Ortega, who won the state competition in the category of Future Business Leader. This competition is one of the most difficult as the student has to score high on a 100 question test followed by a panel interview. He is the second FBLA state champion in Columbus history.

Entrepreneurship Team (3rd place): Alexander Perez, Dominic Alberty, and Fabrizio Cisternino
Insurance and Risk Management (3rd place): Alec Rodriguez
Insurance and Risk Management (4th place): Jayden Alvarez
 
There were over 5,000 students competing in this virtual competition.
