Winner-Takes-All Bass Fishing Tournament

This past weekend, the Anglers Club hosted its second bass fishing tournament of the year titled Winner-Takes-All.

The tournament allowed all participants to collect service hours by donating a care package for Sofia’s Hope, which helps in the fight against childhood cancer. The care package consisted of lollipops and small toys. There were a total of 41 boys that gave care packages.

The boys who fished in the tournament went on a two day hunt at their favorite canal or lake for largemouth and peacock bass. In the ended there would only be one champion for each category competing for prizes given by each angler and from an anonymous donor. Winning the largemouth bass category was Jake Patience with a tournament winning 18” bass and Luciano Gomez with an impressive 22 1/2 peacock bass.
