Jupiter Varsity Wrestling Tournament

The varsity wrestling team caped its regular season with a 2nd place finish out of 33 teams at the Jupiter High School Invitational this past weekend.

Eleven Explorers finished in the medal rounds in the process. The lone Explorer who won 1st place was Robert Dusendang (120lbs.). Christian Guzman (106lbs.) finished 2nd while Gavin Buck (126lbs.) and Brian Walsh (152lbs.) both captured 3rd place.
 
Ryan Rivero (113lbs.), Dylan Mira (138lbs.), and Joshua Márquez (170lbs.) came in 4th while teammates Van Huffman (132lbs.), Ralph Hueso (182lbs.), and Gian Rodriquez (220lbs.) came in 5th overall. Diego Romero finished 6th in the 132 lbs. weight class.
 
The team will now prepare for the District Tournament, being held this Saturday at Southwest Miami High School.
