Robotics Competes in Night at the Museum Invitational

The Columbus Robotics Club traveled to Washington DC to participate in an invitational competition dubbed ‘Night at the Museum’ hosted by NOVA Systemic.

The competition was held at the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum.

It was a very well organized event that brought in 60 teams from 31 different states that had combined for 118x Tournament Champions, 105x Robot Skills Champions, 82x Excellence Awards, and 32x Design Awards. The Club competed alongside the SR-71 Blackbird, the fastest plane ever engineered topping off at 2,193 mph. It was an experience like no other for the Explorers.

After two days of competition, the club members explored the National Mall, the battleground of Bull Run and ended the trip with a nice retreat.
