Wrestling Beats SR in Varsity, JV Dual

The Varsity Wrestling team defeated the Southridge Spartans 56-16 to extend their win-loss record to 29-6.

Six Explorers pinned their opponent in the win: Michael Lynne (120 lb., 10th gr.) 2:20, Dylan Mira (138 lb., 11th gr) :50, Andy Ortiz (145 lb., 12th gr.) 1:14, Joshua Marquez (170 lb., 11th gr.) 1:25, Ralph Hueso (182 lb., 12th gr.) :12. and Gian Rodriquez (285 lb., 11th gr.) :48.
 
The JV Team also won their dual meet 60-13. 
 
Make plans to attend the last dual meet of the season next week Wednesday night here on campus as the Explorers host Cypress Bay “Under the Stars”.
