Wrestling Finishes 4th at Hialeah Gardens

The Varsity Wrestlers opened its season with a 4th place team finish behind Southwest, Palm Beach Wellington and American Heritage at the 29 team Tournament held this past weekend at Hialeah Gardens.

Six wrestlers finished in the medal rounds in the process.
 
Gavin Buck (11th) placed 2nd. at 126 lbs., Christian Guzman (10th) was 3rd at 106 lbs., Dylan Mira (11th) came in 4th in the 138 lbs. and Van Huffman (11th) 132 lbs., Tye Ramirez (11th) 160 lbs. and Rafael Hueso (12th) 182 lbs. all secured a 5th place finishes.
 
The Varsity team will next compete in their District 16 Duals Tournament held this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at South Dade.
