Henderson Receives Army All-American Bowl Jersey

Four-star multi-purpose athlete Xzavier Henderson was presented his Army All-American Bowl jersey Wednesday, November 13 in the presence of his family, coaches and teammates.

“Being invited to the All-American Bowl means a lot to me,” the senior said. “It shows that all my hard work and effort has paid off.”

The selection committee, comprised of 247Sports and All-American Games, evaluates thousands of the nation’s top prospects on an annual basis from the time they enter high school. The evaluations lead to the selection of the 100 best senior football players in the country.

Henderson is in the process of taking all his official visits and has already set a commitment date.

“I’m actually going to be committing on January 4, at the All-American Bowl,” he said.

The Army All-American Bowl is the most prestigious and highest rated high school sporting event on TV and has nearly five million viewers each year. The game will be held January 4 in the Alamodome in San Antonio and will have over 35,000 fans in attendance, many of them service members. It will be televised live on NBC at 1 p.m. EST.
