Golf Advances to FHSAA 3A State Finals

The Columbus golf team punched its ticket to the FHSAA 3A State Golf Finals by placing 3rd in the Region 4 Tournament.

The tournament included 12 teams and 12 individuals (72 players) from Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade County. Although the Explorers took third, the finish was good enough to advance as one of twelve teams with an automatic bid to go along with 4 at-large teams yet to be determined.
 
The Explorers were led by the freshman Andres Atrio, who once again who tied for 1st place overall individually with a +1 (73). Fellow freshman, Hans Risvaer shot a 77 along with senior captain David Ragan IV to help the Explorers advance on.
