Anglers & Spearfishing Club Partner For Service Event

The Columbus Angler’s Club and the Spearfishing Club came together to volunteer to teach the young students of Saint Theresa School how to tie various fishing knots.

The group of 20 got the opportunity to interact with the boys and girls as they taught them how to tie the improved clinch knot, uni-knot, double uni-knot, Albright knot, and the Surgeon’s loop.

The boys represented Columbus very well but more importantly they got the opportunity to help teach younger individuals. The teachers, parents, and administrators were very impressed how much patience and the ability of the club members to teach kids how to tie some not so easy knots for kids.
