The Columbus Anglers Club completed its 3rd Annual Bass Fishing Tournament.

There were two divisions with three categories: Peacock, Largemouth and Snook. In the student peacock division, Sebastian Iglesias placed 1st with a 22" largemouth. Placing second was Christian Toussaint with a 21" catch and Ryan Cano finished 3rd with a 19 9/16" largemouth.

Placing 1st in the peacock student division was Emilio Lerma with a 21 2/16" pea. Placing second and third was Ryan Can who landed a 20 3/4" and 20 9/16" Pea.

In the student snook division, Luis Sanchez figured out the system and beat out all competitors, taking all three places and prizes by landing a 17", 11 1/2", and 8 1/2" snook. Luis managed to get off the bus from grad-bash, help setup for the tournament, fish the tournament, and help breakdown the tournament. He's a 4-year member and is ending his senior year the right way.

Finally, the club opened its doors to the fathers to fish in the tournament. Placing first with a 16 1/2" Largemouth was Mr. Iglesias, father of Sebastian Iglesias. For the peacock category was Mr. Reyes with a 13 1/2, father of Nivan.
