Senior Andres Gutierrez Raises $95,000 for Blood Cancer United

Christopher Columbus High School congratulates senior Andres Gutierrez, who recently served as a co-captain in Blood Cancer United’s Visionary Fundraising Campaign.

During the seven-week campaign, Andres helped lead a team of 11 students that raised an incredible $95,000 to support blood cancer research and patient assistance programs. Their efforts resulted in the second-highest fundraising total in South Florida.

In recognition of his leadership and fundraising efforts, Andres was honored at a gala sponsored by the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, where he received a commemorative guitar.

Congratulations to Andres on an outstanding example of student leadership and service!
