Pink Club Casino Night Raises Over $7,000 for Breast Cancer Care in Nicaragua

Christopher Columbus High School proudly celebrates the success of its Pink Club Casino Night, held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. The event brought together students, faculty, and supporters for an evening of community and purpose, raising more than $7,000 in support of a meaningful cause.

Pink Club, a student-led organization, is dedicated to supporting women receiving free breast cancer treatment at the Ortiz Gurdián Foundation in Nicaragua. Through a unique letter-writing initiative, Columbus students are paired with women undergoing chemotherapy, offering encouragement and building meaningful cultural connections.

Funds raised from Casino Night will directly support the clinic’s efforts to purchase a mammogram machine, helping expand access to early detection and life-saving care for women in need.

Christopher Columbus High School commends the members of Pink Club and all who contributed to the event’s success, reflecting the spirit of service and brotherhood that defines the Columbus community.
