Explorers Answer the Call to Serve at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes
This summer, five Christopher Columbus High School students embraced the Marist call to serve by volunteering at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes in Lourdes, France.
Representing Columbus were Carlos Rios, Class of 2026; Lucas Rassi, Class of 2027; Mathew Del Rey, Class of 2029; Adrián Ordóñez, Class of 2028; and Julian Hurtado, Class of 2027.
While serving in Lourdes, the students assisted pilgrims from around the world, including many who are elderly, sick, or living with disabilities. Through acts of hospitality, compassion, and selfless service, they lived out the Gospel and the Marist mission.
Christopher Columbus High School is proud of these Explorers for representing our school and the Marist Brothers with faith, generosity, and servant leadership on an international stage.
