Retreats
Brotherhood in Reflection
At Christopher Columbus High School, our Marist mission is to make Jesus Christ known and loved. Our retreats are designed to help our Explorers to do precisely this. Each retreat is put together to help all those in attendance discover a new aspect of Jesus. Our retreats are designed to build on each other, while also being easy to walk into for any student attending a retreat for the first time. Our team takes time and prayer to ensure that each grade level has a retreat experience to match their needs.
Peer Ministers take responsibility for the experience of their fellow students on these retreat programs. They play a crucial role by leading the games, witness talks, small group discussions, and prayers on each of the retreats. Faculty members join in with our team to share their experiences and give witness to how Christ has worked in their own lives.

RETREATS

Alumni Retreat
Day Retreat for Alumni
The Columbus Brotherhood doesn’t end at graduation. This retreat is a chance for alumni to step back from their busy lives to rekindle their spiritual journey and reconnect with the Marist values that shaped them. Through prayer, fellowship, and reflection, former Explorers gather to be renewed in faith and reminded that they are always part of the Columbus family.
Parent Retreat
Day Retreat for Parents of Current Students
Our Columbus community doesn’t stop at school, and it’s important to us that our parents, who are our students’ primary experience of faith, get the chance to go on retreat. The goal of this retreat is to give parents the opportunity and the space to share, restore, and grow their faith and to step back from the busyness of life.
