The Mas Technology Complex at Columbus

The Mas Technology Complex opened on the Columbus campus in 2008. It is named after the Mas Family (Jorge, Juan Carlos, and Jose Mas) who are school alumni and benefactors. The hi-tech learning environment found in this facility gives our students experience working with the same technology, programs, and equipment that they will find in college and in their careers.

The complex is a 3- story, 48,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility that houses:

THIRD FLOOR

College-Level Library

with 52 wireless notebooks and 10 personal computers

School TV Station
A large studio with the latest equipment in TV production including 3 Sony HDV High Definition Cameras, two tele-
prompter sound boards, Prodigy FX DJ Mixing station and
a Croma Key Background (similar to the equipment used
in many of the major network news programs).

Multi-Purpose Wireless Classroom
with 30 wireless computers

SECOND FLOOR

5 computer labs with 168 flat screened LCD monitors

GROUND FLOOR

Administrative offices and a school clothing store

The complex is surrounded by beautifully landscaped courtyards and breezeways that provide our students with pleasant gathering areas to study and socialize..

*The school was able to raise all the necessary funding for the facility through the generous donations from alumni, alumni parents, and from the families of our students.
