On February 17th at Miami Country Day School, Columbus' own vaisity soccer coach, Mario Concha, coached the Dade County Soccer Locker Senior All- Star Game, a game set up to recognize the top seniors and from all over the county. Columbus was well represented by seniors Alex Rodrigo (the CCHS team captain and First Team All Dade Pick) and Miguel Sanchez (the CCHS team leading goal scorer and All Dade 2nd Team selection). These Columbus athletes played on the Black All Star Team that came up with the big win, beating The Gold All Star Team 2-0.

Alex Rodrigo pictured above on the left received a full soccer scholarship to Gordon College in Georgia.
